I had a photo session at Artizanns in Naples, NY for Canandaigua Magazine and it was great!
Suzanne at Artizanns is a really nice person and she has an awesome gallery on Main St. that I highly recommend paying a visit
I was photographing an artist by the name of Elizabeth Agte, who makes quite creative pieces of jewelry!
Normally for an assignment, I stay for 10-15 minutes, get what I need, then leave… but this time I really enjoyed the atmosphere and stayed for somewhere close to 3-hours!

Catch up day

I’ve got a whole lot of work on the books this month… it is an all out push to try and keep up.
Today is going to be a catch up day, a week’s worth of emails, voicemails, orders, etc will be taken care of.
I photographed a really cool event last week, but there were a lot of young kids there, so I am not going to post the photos online, sorry

That is how my day started yesterday…
A 17-year old killed himself in the bathroom with a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

Medicinal and Edible Plants - Nature Walk

I photographed an edible and medicinal plants nature walk at the Sactuary at Crowfield Farms in Newark, NY for the D&C as part of my 4-photo sessions in 2-days weekend
All the big hats and the looking down at the ground made this assignment a real challenge to photograph! The hats block out the sunlight and my flash and the looking down hid everybody’s face, so things never quite looked right… anyhow, I hope you enjoy the photos!
