I photographed a great wedding with my second photographer, Jim Dolan, at the Heron Hill Winery and these are some of my favorite photographs, enjoy

Have a great day!
Rochester Wedding Photography - Hi, I'm Brady Dillsworth, a wedding photographer in Rochester, New York!
Welcome to my blog, where I write about wedding photography, sports, travel, business and my personal life; you should find my postings diverse and interesting :)
I am a WPJA award winning wedding photojournalist, which essentially means that my style of wedding photography is all about letting your wedding take place without my interfering in the events... I stay out of the way and photograph real life moments as they happen :)
In addition to photographing weddings, I travel the world photographing professional sports. Some of my best friends and most loyal clients are current and retired athletes, who bring me to their homes for long weekends of relaxed documentary photography work. Beyond photography, I consult for internet companies in the areas of becoming popular, profitable and sold.
I travel a lot and I do my best to post notices on my blog, so if you see that I am going to be close to where you are and if you are interested in meeting for lunch, send me an email and I will try to work something out with you!
Have fun looking through all of my wedding photography, sports photography, travel photography and random thoughts.
Have a great day!

Have a great day!
I picked up something really heavy and ruptured a blood vessel in my finger, the one to the right of my middle finger.
It kind of hurts and looks a little gross.
Wedding coming soon
Have a great day!
I am uploading even more wedding photos (seems to be all I do lately…), so will blog again for a few minutes while I wait.
I have to drive to Philly soon to deliver a giant 4.5′ x 7′ portrait of an NBA player and his daughter that I took a few months ago. It is a great picture and is going to hang right above his bed
I think it is just about 5-hours one-way to Philly from here, so not too bad… almost the exact same amount of time that it takes when you factor in driving to the airport, security, boarding, waiting, flying, waiting, landing and then getting picked up.
You all seem to like the real posts that I make with real thoughts much more than the obligatory updates with photos… I get a lot of emails from people when I post real things
A bunch of albums should be delivered this week, so I will go through those and ship packages out soon. If yours is not in this order, the next order should be delivered in a few weeks, they come in on a rolling basis.
I am re-reading Thinkertoys, one of the best books ever written… invest in yourself and buy a copy! The author happens to live near me, but I have not taken him out to lunch yet, though plan to soon
This is the setting of the next wedding that I will be posting.

Have a great day!
I recorded a new voice message greeting for my cell phone… many people told me that the last one was not friendly enough, so I fixed it
I am uploading more wedding photos now, which is why I am blogging again.
Expect a ridiculous (I always think ridiculous is spelled rediculous, but it is not) amount of new photos soon, there are like 20-jobs that you haven’t seen yet!
Have a great day!
I’ll blog a little while I sit here and upload thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of photos.

I have suffered my first Windows crash ever. Not a hard drive crash, but an actual Windows failure. Definitely very annoying. I have access to all of my photographs, but I don’t have my address book, my QuickBooks and other program data. Also, editing is taking forever since I am stuck working on my notebook.

I am drastically cutting back on my sugar intake. There is no doubt that I have been addicted to it for years, consuming way more in a day than I should in even a month. Basically, if it is not a natural unprocessed food, I am not eating it or drinking it. The first three days were horrible; I felt sick, lethargic, hungry, irritable and just plain bad. It has been about a week now and I still semi-crave it, but not nearly as bad. I am hoping that after a month or two, I just stop caring about it and stop eating it altogether. Who in their right mind would exchange diabetes or heart disease for a brownie?! Can’t imagine what a drug or alcohol addiction must be like.

Nikon just released the most amazing digital camera of all time, the Nikon D700. It is a full frame sensor camera in a small body for just $3,000!!! My second photographer, Jim, just bought one, and if it performs as well as I think it will, I will be buying one too!

Semi vague, but I am not naming names……… this probably applies to everybody, including myself, so read on… if somebody looked you in the eyes and said that there is no possible way that you could do it, no possible way that you could ever earn more than $100,000 in a year, no possible way that you could ever be one of the most successful people in the world, you would do everything in your power to prove him or her wrong, no question about it. Why is it alright for you to tell yourself that you can’t do it, that there is no possible way that you can ever earn more than $100,000 in a year and that there is no possible way that you can ever be one of the most successful people in the world?! You are limiting yourself and hurting yourself and you are standing in your own way. You are literally at the cusp of unimaginable wealth but you are not doing what it takes to get to the next level. Please realize what you are doing and change. Simply change your patterns, sleep a little less, read a little more and work a little harder and you will be richer than anyone you know, you will have more fun than anyone you know and you will be happier than anyone you know!
Stop being afraid of success!

I am listening to Mozart’s Requiem while I write this; one of my favorite pieces of music. Impressive that it is over 200 years old. I think that one day I will travel the world listening to the greatest orchestras playing the greatest classical music of all time.

My friend Shan is back from Africa! She was there for a month! She just emailed me!

I have been watching the National Geographic Channel series Locked Up Abroad, that is one intense show!!!!!!!!! Wow. First off, people who get caught, you are idiots. Second off, wow!!! I couldn’t imagine myself being so desperate as to need to smuggle drugs into and out of a country. Also, couldn’t imagine being so short sighted as to disregard the likely worst case scenario outcome. One thing that struck me in the few episodes that I saw was how the people almost always had a change of heart mid-way through the smuggle, but did not know how to get themselves out of the situation.
The episode that I just saw was based in Bangladesh. There was an 18 year old girl checking out of her hotel with drugs that had a US street value of $1,000,000 taped to her body while the guy forcing her to carry the drugs was standing by in the lobby. Moments earlier, she had tried to run away, but caused a bit of a scene and the clerk asked her if everything was alright and she said yes. At that point, all she had to do was write on her bill, which she had to sign, in big bold letters that there was a problem, “Don’t let me leave,” “Call the police,” “I am a hostage,” “He will kill me,” etc. Any of that will get the clerks attention and 99.999999999999% of hotel front desk people speak English, even the ones who are working at 3am, so they would have understood. All she had to do was think on her feet and she could have gotten the situation resolved with less than a life sentence in jail (which was later reduced due to a presidential pardon).

I am learning about motivation. Not the motivational speaker types of motivation, but the genuine real effective motivation that works for me. It is interesting to see what motivates me and what doesn’t. So far, experience motivates me more than anything.

I am learning the ropes with regard to hiring a CEO. Interesting process to say the least…

It is being reported that 2008 Mini Coopers are basically sold out and that orders for 2009s can’t start for a few months, so I guess I am waiting a little while longer

I think I am being interviewed by the Rochester Business Journal this week for something. They need to take my photo soon. I think I’ll review the questions this morning.

I have so many phone conferences to take care of today, not even funny. I have been on the phone so much lately that I have had to charge it 2 or 3 times each day.

I am in a transitional phase. As soon as I finish my wedding obligations, I will share details of the next major step with you. Big changes, exciting changes and fun changes are coming, but I don’t want to speak too soon or say anything that I might not want to be read quite yet

I think somebody who has my phone number stored in their phone had it in their pocket without the key lock turned on, because on Friday from 11:20pm - 12:00am, I was called non-stop by a phone number that I did not recognize. I think it was two people in a bar or restaurant setting, since it was pretty loud, so loud that I could not hear what was being said or by whom, just that there was a lot of noise.
That actually happens a semi-lot. Just a side effect of having a name that starts with a B.

I know I haven’t updated in a while, so I hope that this long one makes up for it
