this is getting ridiculous, i haven’t run out of things to write, but i have stopped using capital letters and end punctuation

i think of so much stuff each day, it is unbelievable

i wonder if i think of more things than you?

i don’t mean that as an insult… i just never really shut off my brain, i am always thinking and doing

what does this mean?

a friend just emailed that to me but he or she didn’t use any smiley faces so i don’t know how to take it… serious? joke? sarcastic? meaningless? meaningful?

i replied with one word

“why”

i got the lesson of a lifetime in negotiation while i was on the phone with leland and one of our suppliers today… he seriously blew me away

i have never seen a buyer (leland) take control of a situation like he did and completely spin the rolls of a buyer and seller and actually frustrate the seller like a used car salesman frustrates a buyer

the end result is more than 50% off… seriously, we got these things for below cost from the cheapest supplier in the country

i have a pretty good idea of what cost is since this is a regulated industry

i’m not sharing the techniques though, so you can’t use them on me

the phone call took 45 minutes

i tried out the first half of his method tonight via email, the second half will happen tomorrow on the phone… i am apologizing now to the customer support representative who will be taking my call tomorrow, it is nothing personal, i just have to test out my new skills

passive-aggressive people are funny

i am not passive-aggressive

sometimes i am aggressive-aggressive, but not usually, unless i am working hard

i think i fall more into the sly-brilliant category

It was seriously difficult not blogging for so long, I had tons of stuff to say but no time to say it.

To make up for it today is going to be a marathon blogging day

I am uploading client files right now so I’ll type while that happens.

My grandfather has been in the process of dying over the past week or two. I am not sure where things stand right now… I’m not trying to be funny, he has gone between almost dead and mostly alive a few times since I first heard about his stroke 10-days ago.

It is amazing how fast things can go wrong in the body.

Two of my cousins are getting married on the same day, May 10, 2008.

One is a maternal cousin and one is a paternal cousin.

Do maternal and paternal apply to cousins? I am not sure… one cousin is on my mom’s side and one cousin is on my dad’s side

I think the most damaging mindset to growing a business is the mindset of doing it all yourself.

I suppose some people think that way to save money or to prove that they can do it or because they don’t trust anyone else, but not me, I am not an expert at everything so I use experts for what I shouldn’t do

I brought on two writers (looking for more), a graphic designer and a web designer and Leland and I manage the growth/sales/technical/day-to-day/etc.
